que estranho esta sua placa pois o módulo esta carregado a placa aparentemente esta carregada corretamente, vc faz alguma mudança os módulos do sistema ou no arquivo /etc/modules.conf ??

não precisa não, cara não consigo imaginar o que pode ser o problema ... sei que eu uso tres linhas de comando e tudo funciona perfeitamente se erro algum .
quais linhas... tu num sabe oq pode estar acontecendo pra num subir?

Não tenho certeza se isto aqui abaixo seja própriamente um erro, mais eu tentaria resolver:

Reboot a máquina e configure no setup que seu sistema operacional NÃO é plug and play. Se isto não resolver, informe a opção pci=biosirq para o boot do kernel.

Se não for correto, experimente (padrão sysv)
/etc/init.d/network stop (desativa o ip da interface e o cliente dhcp)
ifconfig eth0 down (desativa a interface para o comando abaixo não acusar erro)
ifconfig eth0 hw ether mac_correto (configura a interface e ativa)
/etc/init.d/network start (start do cliente dhcp)
