Ajuda no proftpd

Ola amigos

eu instalei o slackware 11 e ta tudo funcionando....

porem criei um usuario chamado crocklinux e estou tentando acessar ftp porem ele nao conecta

alguem tem aguma ideia de que pode ser.

o proftp ja esta rodando ..

posta o seu proftpd.conf ai pra gente pode da uma olhada

Que erro ele da?

E qual é a mensagem de erro que nao sabemos ainda?

Bom, ele ta dando erro de usuario/senha, confere se ta certo, caps nao ta ligado, etc

olha so...eu criei um grupo para crocklinux

ta assim grupo crocklinux usuario crocklinux

onde eu habilito par ao grupo crocklinux fazer ftp.

acho que é isso

Adiciona o grupo crocklinux em /etc/ftpusers

adcionei e reiniciei o proftp porem nao funcionou

entao meu eu testei teu arquivo de conf e ak funciono normal so que o unico detalhe que eu deu uma reparada é o seguinte as duas variaveis de usuario e grupo
tenta troca as duas para o grupo crocklinux so pra da uma testada que provavelmente vai funciona okk se num funciona posta ai denovo

olha so que tava acontecendo...depois uqe habilitei funcionou

crocklinux 500 crocklinux Meunome /home/dedkey /bin/false

mudei para :

Nome do usuário ID Group Nome real Diretório inicial Shell
crocklinux 500 crocklinux Meunome /home/dedkey /bin/bash

so habilitei o bash

porem que ta o problema.

este este usuario nao pode ter acesso ao shell, e com isso ele acessa o shell nao faz muita coisa porem tem acesso.

tenho que deixar usar somente ftp para ele.

Esse é o grupo ao qual o daemon faz parte, o seu é lá embaixo, no final do arquivo, junto com ftp, etc.

ja tentei e nao funciona se eu tiver com bash bloqueado para ele

Edita o arquivo /etc/shells e adiciona "/bin/false"
