reconhecer o hd externo, no dmesg consta mas não no fdisk -l

Inseri um hd externo de 1 TB, no dmesg informa que foi reconhecido.

Coloquei na Blade onde fica o SO, e NADA.

amigo uma pergunta simples, vc fez a montagem da unidade para testar?

Fiz o teste sim.
Coloquei ele em uma máquina física com o Ubuntu, montei, desmontei ele.
