Duplicate sources ao dar apt-get update

Saudações a todos!

Estou executando o comando apt-get update aqui no Ubuntu mas ele me dá sempre a mensagem de erro abaixo:

Já fiz várias vezes mas dá sempre a mesma coisa.

Duplicate sources.list entry http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/ stable/main i386 Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/dl.google.com_linux_chrome_deb_dists_stable_main_binary-i386_Packages)

W: Você terá que executar apt-get update para corrigir estes problemas

Dá uma olhada no seu arquivo /etc/apt/sources.list. Provavelmente você deve tê-lo editado e colocado duas linhas iguais nele. Remova uma das duas e execute o comando

apt-get update

como usuário root ou com o sudo.

Cara, pior que já olhei ele inteiro e não tem nada de anormal, essa mensagem começou a dar do nada, sem eu ter feito nenhuma alteração....

Dentro da pasta /etc/apt/

verifica se existe uma pasta "sources.list.d"

se existir, veja se nela existe algum arquivo se referindo ao google ou um de seus aplicativos ( acho q no seu caso o chrome )

entra dentro do arquivo(s) e verifica se esse link ai se encontra duplicado !
