Como você bem disse existem técnicas como o EtherChannel (link aggregation) como as da cisco que simula um link de 200M se você juntar duas portas de 100M!Código :

In the default kernel this will balance routes over the two providers This will balance the routes over both providers. The [B]weight[/B] parameters can be tweaked to favor one provider over the other. Note that balancing will not be perfect, as it is route based, and routes are cached. This means that routes to often-used sites will always be over the same provider
O que esta dizendo ali não é que irá fazer isso, mas que irá fazer o balanceamento de cargas entre os links! Isso te dará o efeito que você tem um link maior de internet! E se entendi bem a pergunta do nosso amigo ali é isso o que ele ta precisando! ;)
