erro no ./configure

Sempre que eu dou o ./configure pra instalar um aplicativo da o seguinte erro!

ps. esse erro apareceu quando eu fui compilar o ircd da brasnet (bras6.14.10p), da brasirc(ircbr5.0.2) e tb no xchat 2.0 Valew´ZZZ

tu tem as bibliotecas GCC?

tenho aqui esta instalado o CL 8 opcao FULLL

nunca tinha dado isto antes..
