    Padrão Driver SIS 740 !!!

    E ai pessoal blz !!! tenho uma placa de video on board SIS 740 quero configurar ela no meu linux procurei ela no Xf86 e nao existe nenhum drive semalhante entao fui no site abaixe um drive da placa que tem XF86config , que eu acho que deve ser copiado no lugar do Xf86config antigo !!! entao eu copiei mais nao funciona a placa quando STartx ele me gerar a mesma menssagem dizendo que a placa na esta configurada , alguem aqui tem algum macete para configurar este tipo de placa !!!

    Padrão Driver SIS 740 !!!

    O jeito é configura-la no xf86config mesmo amigo, posta aqui seu passo-a-passo no xf86config que eu corrijo se houver algo errado.

    Poste também as configuracoes da placa e do monitor.

    Padrão Driver SIS 740 !!!

    Bom amigo, o erro que ele volta eh o NO SCREENS FOUND, nao eh?
    O que acontece é que voce nao definiu uma resolucao pra ele iniciar, rode o comando

    xf86config e certifique-se de definir, se tiver duvida, poste o que voce está fazendo em cada passo do xf86config que eu te ajudo sem maiores problemas =)
