Php 5 no Redhat 9

Olá gente,
Aguém por favor poderia me explicar como instalar o php5 em .tar.gz no redhat 9?
Fiz o seguinte:

#./configure --with-mysql --with-apx2 --with-config-file=/etc/

Até ai beleza, compilou legal.

Só que não acho a bivlioteca libphp5.so para carregar no httpd.

já tentei localizar com o find ou com o locate, mas este arquivo não existe...

Alguém sabe me informar?

Cara...

A maneira mais simples pra vc é encontrar o PHP 5 em rpm mesmo, dá uma procurada no www.rpmfind.net
