    Padrão Acessando ZIP DRIVE e CD ROM, erro no mount

    Estou usando o redhat 9 com kernel original 2.4.20-8 mas o módulo EFS só pode ser compilado no kernel 2.6.12.3, assim eu compilei este, mas o não consigo acessar meu ZIP DRIVE IDE interno com o comando:
    mount -t efs /dev/hdd4 /mnt/zip

    apresentado o erro:
    mount: /dev/hdd4 não é um dispositivo de blocos válido

    Acontece que meu CDROM apresenta o mesmo problema quando acesso meus CD ROMs formatados para EFS filesystem, mas tudo é perfeitamente normal quando acesso CDs formatados em DOS / FAT.

    Acredito que o problema não seja no módulo EFS e sim alguma coisa que precise ser configurada no kernel.

    Talvez uma tabela descrevendo o que é exatamente cada /dev, acredito que ajudaria bastante! Assim poderia linkar o zip drive a outro /dev/ mais adequado na hora de acessar discos formatados em EFS, tanto no zip como para acessar CD ROM. Apesar da necessidade maior seja para acessar os ZIPs mesmo!

    Agradeço qualquer ajuda, bem como indicar as informações de sistema necessárias que eu precise fornecer, para que o problema seja detectado!
