Squid não inicia em partições de cache

Amigos, estou com problema.

Criei 10 partições de 2600 Mb cada. As partições foram criadas antes da instalação. São partições logical (Conectiva 10).
Mas quando tento iniciar o squid, apresenta o seguinte erro:

[root@zorro proxy]# squid -z

chown usuario_do_squid:grupo_do_squid /path/do/cache
