    Question Montar Câmera Sony W50

    Eu sempre consegui montar pendrives e outros dispositivos USB de armazenagem carregando os módulos e montando:

    modprobe usb-ohci
    modprobe usb-storage
    modprobe usbcore
    mount -t vfat /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb

    Porém a nova câmera que eu comprei (Sony W50) não mosta, retornando a seguinte mensagem de erro: "/dev/sdb1 is not a valid block device". No windows XP ( sem nenhum SP) é detectada normalmente e automaticamente.

    O que está acontecendo? Como resolver?

    cara da um dmesg e confirma onde foi que detectou

    as vezes pode ter sido sda1 em vez de sdb1 ou ate sdc1

    amigo que distribuicao e versao vc esta usando ???
    pq a maioria detecta automaticamente esses dispositivos...

    Slackware 11 k2.4. E como eu disse, outros pendrives e até mesmo um playstation portatil também da sony também funciona, e todos são detectados na sdb1 quando ligados sozinhos. Só a câmera dá o erro.

    quem sabe algum slackuser possa te ajudar..

    verifique o modo de comunicação da camera, se ele está em ptp ou normal...

    Pela mensagem do dmesg o kernel reconhece como dispositivo de disco, mas não possui driver para acesso. Recomendo que teste o kernel 2.6 do slack (o test26.s ou huge26.s, instalando os devidos módulos) e verfique se desta vez a câmera é encontrada

    Eu testei nos 3 modos dela: PTP, PictBridge e Mass Storage. Em nenhum dos modos funcionou, só não tentei usar o Kernel 2.6 , e quando eu tentei instalar o Slack11 usando o test26.s ou huge26.s, o linux dava erros durante o boot, e eu ainda não descobrir porque do problema.
