Kismet no Ubuntu

Pessoal,

estou tentando instalar o kismet no ubuntu 7.04 e quando vou executar aparece a seguinte mensagem:

o que poderia ser?? estou utilizando uma placa sem fio D-link dwl-520+ com o driver acx100. Se alguém puder me ajudar ficarei grato!

tente executar como usuário normal em vez de root

vc ja editou o /etc/kismet/kismet.conf ??
tem que editar na linha que começa com

source= driver,nome_da_placa,apelido_qualquer

Amigo aí é só problema com usuario tenta colocar outro usuario que nao seja o root la no campo "suiduser=", loga com ele e executa o kismet como root... ($sudo kismet)
no meu caso funcionou.
