Wifi instável - autenticações sequenciais

Olá amigos,

Estou com um problema estranho de instabilidade na minha rede wifi. Eu consigo navegar na internet mas a conexão está picada e, dependendo do site, não consigo abrir. No painel superior do gnome o monitor de rede fica trocando de conectado a desconectado o tempo todo.

Estou usando um d-link DI-624, com criptografia WPA AES-PSK e, no computador, Ubuntu 9.04 atualizado.
