Não acessando outros ambientes apos install Driver Nvidia

ae galera... naum estou conseguindo acessar outros ambientes depois q instalei o driver da Nvidia... tipo do ctrl+alt+f1 até o f6 num consigo acessar... o monitor entra em stand by

alguem ae tem noção do q pode tá acontecendo?

troca /sbin/mingetty por /sbin/agetty

mas troka soh no 4,5,6, depois entra entrar nos consoles alt+f4,etc.. se funfar ai vc troca em todos

vc recompilou o kernel neh???? qdo vc boota a maquina aparece as linhas dos comandos normal?
PS: o agetty mingetty entre outros eh o responsavel pelos terminais

eu propriamente naum... só se for o driver q fez issu... nem sei recompilar essa joça... no boot aparece os serviços q tá carregando e tal...mas quando reinicia a maquina o monitor desliga e fica um tempo (terminando os serviços creio eu) e ae reinicia... mesma coisa quando vai desligar

cara vc habilitou o logun garfico automatico?

eu tinha esse pro de naum conseguir acessar o terminal qdo colokei o rc.4 start no rc.local ai meus termnais crtl + alt f1,2,3,4,45,6 foram p o espaço, ele soh entrava em standby e mais nd e soh voltaram qdo eu retirei

Coincidentemente eu tive um problema com isso no Debian estes dias.

Quando eu liguei o TV-OUT, ele não abriu outros terminais, mas quando eu desliguei o cabo, funcionou normal, acho que isso pode ser algo da frequência de atualização do monitor ou alguma incompatibilidade com o DRIVER.

Eu estava lendo o README da NVIDIA só por curiosidade e descobri que se você tem o módulo rivafb no seu kernel (modularizado ou built-in no kernel, tá?), ele vai dar problemas trocando os ambientes. Leia isto:

Q: My system hangs when vt-switching if I have rivafb enabled.

A: Using both rivafb and the NVIDIA kernel module at the same time is
currently broken. In general, using two independent software drivers
to drive the same piece of hardware is a bad idea.

Quando eu fui olhar o meu kernel, adivinha o que eu encontrei? A porrinha da opção habilitada no kernel. Desmarquei e está funcionando belezinha...
