kurumin reconfigurar wmware-config.pl

Instalei o vmware no kurumin mas ele depois pede para reconfiurar o vmware-config.pl :

vmware workstation is installed , but it was not been (correctley) configured for your running kernel. To reconfigure it, your sustem administrator must find and run "vmware-config-pl"

Reconfigurando depois e :

Your kernel was built with "gcc" version "2.95.4", while you are trying to use
"/usr/bin/gcc" version "3.3.4". This configuration is not supported and VMware
Workstation cannot work in such configuration. Please either recompile your
kernel with "/usr/bin/gcc" version "3.3.4", or restart ./vmware-config.pl with
CC environment variable pointing to the "gcc" version "2.95.4".

Amigo, pelo que eu entendi o seu kernel foi compilado com o gcc 2.95, e agora quando executa o config-pl ele compila alguns modulos junto ao seu kernel, mas quando ela chama o gcc, ess esta em uma versão mais nova, e não pode ser usado para compilar os modulos pois seu Kernel foi compilado com a versão anterior.

Você tem duas opções, ou recompila seu quernel inteiro, ou então desintala o gcc e instala novamente a versão 2.95.

sim, agora percebi, pois antes conseguia passado algum tempo é que não, pois posteriormente fiz o update e pimba. Pronto, agora para desinstalar como tenho pouco exeperiência no kurumin vou ao synaptic e desinstalo o gcc. Como posso instalar o gcc 2.95 ? Aonde o encontrar,pois o kurumin, acho eu utiliza pacotes do debian né?
