    Padrão CUPS - Senha

    Pessoal,

    Estou seguindo este tutorial:
    Linux: Linux imprimindo em Windows via rede [Artigo]

    para imprimir da minha máquina que é Linux (Kubuntu 6.06) numa máquina Windows 98 (sob dominio SAMBA que ta num FC4).

    Eu entro no site que administra o CUPS que ta instalado e tal, e nao me pede senha nenhuma. Somente quando indico o modelo da impressora ele pede senha e nao aceita a senha de nenhum usuario da maquina. Nem a minha de usuario, nem a do Root, nada.

    Alguem tem ideia do que possa ser?

    Saudações amigo,

    Geralmente o usuário é root (sem R maiúsculo) e a senha é a sua senha de root.
    Foi exatamente isso que vc tentou?
